Hospital management system

Delivering a 70% efficiency boost to a military hospital

Our client is a long-standing medical institution. With 500 beds, 500 staff members, and 1,500 outpatients every day, the hospital plays a vital role in local community. However, managing such a large volume of people manually was becoming difficult.

To provide better care for military personnel and local patients, we decided to modernize the hospital by digitizing our operations.

What stood in our way

We faced several difficult obstacles that hindered the hospital’s day-to-day operations. The most pressing issue was our reliance on manual paperwork, which caused patient requests to process slowly and created unnecessary bottlenecks in our workflow. Beyond just speed, we needed to ensure that medical services remained uninterrupted and highly professional at all times.

Furthermore, we had to find a way to modernize our infrastructure without overspending. Our goal was to significantly improve efficiency, but we had to do so in a cost-effective manner to ensure our services remained affordable and competitive.

The solutions we implemented

To overcome these obstacles, we introduced a comprehensive digital system designed to modernize our entire workflow.

  • Hospital Information System (HIS): We automated tasks like appointment scheduling, billing, and inventory through a comprehensive web app platform. This reduced human errors significantly.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): We replaced outdated paper files with a digital system that gives doctors instant access to patient history.
  • Management Tools: We created a dashboard for real-time insights and a mobile app. This allowed patients to book appointments from home and helped staff work more effectively.
  • Asset and Training Management: We started tracking our equipment to save costs and built a training system to keep their staff professional.

What we achieved

The results of this transformation have been a complete success in terms of team adoption, with every single department embracing the new system.

We successfully moved away from the manual paperwork, digitizing 80-90% of our data reports and forms, which helped drive a remarkable 70% increase in our overall efficiency.

The real reward, however, lies in the impact on patient care: wait times for medical records have dropped to less than 3%, and we have significantly improved safety, reducing incidents at our facilities by 90%

By achieving 100% connectivity between our specialized systems like LIS and PACS, we have created a seamless, reliable environment where our medical team can finally focus on what matters most – caring for our patients.

Today, the hospital operates faster, smarter, and more professionally. This digital transformation has not only saved costs but, more importantly, has significantly improved the quality of care for our patients.
