Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Work on-site at the client’s office (Banking partner) during the project period.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support enterprise web applications.
  • Work closely with Frontend developers, QA engineers, and project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and optimize database structures and queries for system performance and scalability.
  • Ensure application security and secure coding practices during development.
  • Maintain and manage source code using Git and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

Requiements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Backend development with Java.
  • Strong experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Struts.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Proficient in working with at least two relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar.
  • Experience using Git for source code management.
  • Knowledge of secure programming practices and application security.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of Frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, SCSS.
  • Experience working with Session management, authentication tokens, browser caching mechanisms, WebSocket, or Service Workers.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and user-oriented system design.
  • Experience working on large-scale enterprise systems, especially in the Banking or Financial domain.
